Creating smart, kind, curious children is at the heart of our kids gym franchise concept.

We are so proud of the franchisees that have helped us spread our unique brand around the world. And we are always looking for new entrepreneurs to partner with.

As I just mentioned, we encourage curiosity at Romp n’ Roll. So, whether you are considering joining our franchise network, or are just inquisitive, I welcome you to read on. You’ll discover what makes our kids gym franchise concept unique, and the personal story behind its inception.

How It Started

Like many successful companies, the Romp n’ Roll brand was born out of its founders’ dissatisfaction with the status quo.

It was 2003, and Babz Barnett (Romp n’ Roll’s Co-Founder) and I were raising our young children. Like most young couples, we were dedicated to our kids. We wanted them to have enriching, fun, and educational experiences that fed their minds, bodies and souls. However, we were running ourselves ragged in the process—shuttling them from gyms, to studios, to classrooms, to playgrounds.

Night after night, we would commiserate, “why can’t there be one place that offered everything?” Through these conversations, we began to string together the elements we would want in our dream facility. These casual musings led to research and brainstorming sessions. Ultimately, a fully-developed and unique kids gym franchise concept emerged.

Babz and I opened our first location in October 2004, and then another one year later. Our franchise network launched just two years later, proving that our concept filled the same gap many parents experienced.

What We Do For Kids

We created Romp n’ Roll as a fun, whimsical center for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to play, learn, and socialize.

But unlike other kids facilities, we provide the full spectrum of classes and activities under one roof. From music and art to tumbling, sports, dance, cooking, and science, we enrich the whole child.

How We Do It

Other than offering a comprehensive preschool enrichment experience under one roof, what’s so different about Romp n’ Roll?

In a nutshell: our curriculum.

That research and development over our kitchen table so long ago yielded a proven, play-based curriculum. Our activities, classes and programs develop specific skills and functionality for the rapidly-growing brains and bodies of babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.

But this clinical approach is in the background; it’s transparent to kids. They are having so much fun playing and creating, they have no idea they’re learning too!

But, as Allison Giovenco, our Director of Sales and Franchisee Support points out, parents know. At Romp n’ Roll, caretakers participate and learn too, which is another distinction of our kids gym franchise concept. Allison advises that parents are “getting educated at the same time,” learning how their children are growing.

Our Culture and Brand Personality

Our proprietary curriculum would not be possible to maintain without a supportive and vibrant corporate culture.

Romp n’ Roll has four core values that help us achieve our mission at every location:

FUN. At Romp n’ Roll, we create an atmosphere where everyone is engaged and friendly.

ADAPTABLE & SERVICE-DRIVEN. While our curriculum is structured, we like to say you’ve got to Romp n’ Roll with everything else. We believe being adaptable is why working with young children and families is fun and creative.

MOTIVATED. We give each child, each parent, each project everything we’ve got. We know that giving that extra degree of effort makes all the difference in the world.

GOOD COMMUNICATION & ATTITUDE. We believe a positive attitude and good communication is the key to great service and overall success.

A Growing Demographic

The Romp n’ Roll franchise network is growing not only coast to coast, but internationally as well.

Along with our unique kids gym franchise concept and proven curriculum, our success is dependent upon our growing target demographic. I don’t mean that our children are growing, but that the preschool child demographic is increasing!

By 2040, preschool-aged kids will number 25 million in America. As this demographic grows in numbers, so does the demand for our unique kids gym franchise concept.

And we are poised and prepared to respond with a proven operational model and over 200+ franchises. Our five-year expansion goal is to add up to 15 new franchises to our network every year. Our corporate mission is to be the largest company in our industry by 2030.

Hopefully, you’ve learned enough about our kids gym franchise network to satisfy your curiosity. Perhaps, you may even want to become part of our exciting future. In any event, I hope you enjoyed reading about the kids gym franchise my wife and I built.
