Class Description:
Our runners’ class is a parent inclusive class designed for children who are walking/running with ease, usually 16-24 months of age. We begin the class in “Rompy’s House”, an intimate area closed off from the Gym with a curtain. We begin each class by calling out our mascot, Rompy, singing our hello song, and reading an age-appropriate book to introduce the weekly theme. Then the curtain opens and it’s into the gym where the equipment in the gym is arranged in a way the toddlers can use each piece individually and develop skills such as balance, jumping, climbing and rolling. During class we come together for circle time where the children participate in a variety of fun creative music and movement activities. At the end of each class, your child will enjoy fun parachute songs and activities as well as an exciting bubble dance party (with disco ball – wow!). To end the class, we go back to Rompy’s House, close the curtain, sing songs together and sing goodbye to each child.
