Class Description:
Our Tumble Tunes 2 class is a parent inclusive class designed for children who are two and three years of age. We begin the class in “Rompy’s House” where we call out our mascot, Rompy, sing our hello song, and Rompy says special hello to each child. Tumble Tunes 2 focuses on using rhythm as a way to not only teach musical concepts like pitch movement, patterns, and dynamics, but we will also use it as a tool to enhance understanding of body awareness and technique. Rhythm combined with instruments and songs will help teach children about hops, jumps, and balance. We will also continue to use songs that focus on vowel sounds and breath control. We also enjoy an age appropriate literature selection related to our weekly theme. Then the curtain opens and it’s into the gym where the parents help their children navigate their way around a theme related obstacle course designed to help develop skills such as balance, jumping, climbing and rolling. Halfway into class we come together for music time where the children participate in a variety of fun creative music and movement activities. At the end of each class, your child will enjoy an exciting bubble dance party. Each class concludes in Rompy’s House, where we sing songs together and Rompy says a special goodbye to each child. To further expand on your class, each child will also receive their very own CD to enjoy at home. Parent-Inclusive.
