Our Mixed Ages Tumble Tunes class is a parent inclusive class designed for children ages 10 months - 3 years. Our enthusiastic instructors provide guidance through an Independent Play time for those children under 2 years of age in addition to the modeling of an Obstacle Course for those children older than 2. There is something for everyone!

Who has rhythm? You do! We all do! In our Tumble Tunes classes, rhythm is one of the main musical attributes we focus on. But through the playing of various instruments, the singing of songs, and performing various motions, we not only introduce musical concepts but also help the children gain an understanding of body awareness, movement awareness, and sensory-based motor functions. By performing fun musical activities we are enhancing gross motor functions like stepping and marching and language skills though following the directions given to us in the songs, all done within the enjoyment of music.

We begin the class in Rompy's House, where we call out our mascot, Rompy, sing our hello song, and Rompy says a special hello to each child. We then we sing a fun song together that is related to our weekly theme which could be anything from 3-2-1 Blast Off to The Days of the Dinosaurs! Then the curtains open and it's into the gym where the equipment in the gym is arranged in an obstacle course format where the children combine skills such as climbing and jumping with moves that help build upper and lower body strength as well as balance and core muscle strength.

Halfway into class, we come together for Music Circle Time where the children participate in a variety of fun and creative music and movement activities. Before heading back into Rompy's house, your child will enjoy bubble time to a soothing lullaby. Each class concludes in Rompy's House, where we sing together and Rompy says a special goodbye to each child. What's even better is that each child will also receive their very own CD to enjoy at home and expand on the skills and activities they have learned in class.
